I was fairly convinced from early on in this pregnancy that the baby was another girl. That is, until a couple of weeks ago. I started dreaming about boys. A boy name that I actually LIKED just came to me out of nowhere. The night before our big ultrasound, I dreamed that not only was the baby a boy, it was TWIN boys (I had had an early ultrasound that showed only one little baby-blob, but anxiety provoking nonetheless!!). Then came the kicker. While viewing our wiggly, squiggly baby on the ultrasound screen, the baby flashed us the "hang loose" sign. 'Oh my gosh', I thought, 'this baby really IS a boy. A girl just wouldn't do that'. Sure enough, several hours later when we opened the envelope, it was confirmed. It's a BOY! Oh my gosh, a BOY!! So, commence with the boy-name negotiations, buying blue clothes, and generally preparing for our first son to join the family. Here we go!

Congratulations on the upcoming baby boy! I am so very excited. What a cool nephew already, flashing us all "hang loose."
Geezzz, looking at those ultrasound pictures brought tears to my eyes. Modern science is truly amazing, to see so clearly what is growing inside you.
I agree with Laura, he is going to be one cool little guy.
Congrats guys! You are due for a Momma's boy :) How cool is it that Emily and Aly and now Bradley and your baby boy will be all so close in age?! I have quite a bit of baby boy stuff I can send your way!
Well...Kimberly and Chris left the name 'Carter' on the table, which I still love! Tough thing about naming the boys...they are stuck with the first/last name combo forever. So much responsibility with naming a child! At least it's one rather than two ;)
i have not checked this out in a while and you have been busy! this entry made me tearful, just the amazing sight of this little gentleman growing in there-WOW! It is so fun to watch this little one form into a little boy! I cant wait to share stories of pee, toilet talk, and boogers as our boys grow up together!!
